WHAT TO EXPECT

WHERE YOU CAN LISTEN

THE REFRAME PODCAST sits at the crossroads of my scholarship, my practice, and my lived experience. It’s a place where ideas meet real life, where leadership, power, and identity are explored not as theories, but as the everyday truths we navigate in our families, classrooms, workplaces, and faith journeys. Here, we hold space for conversations that are intellectually honest and emotionally grounded, inviting purpose, justice, and faith out of the margins and into the center of our collective reflection.

S1E2: From Control to Being Carried
In this Faith Forward solo episode of The Reframe, Dr. Nafeesha Mitchell speaks directly to Black women navigating leadership, transition, and faith. She explores the shift from believing we must control everything to recognizing how God gently guides our desires and decisions. Through testimony and Scripture, Nafeesha reframes desire as a sign of divine alignment rather than ambition or confusion. Listeners will reflect on where they may be gripping too tightly and where God may already be directing their next chapter. This episode offers a grounding invitation to trust that you are being carried, personally, professionally, and spiritually.

Listeners can expect invitations to pause, connect, and reflect on how their own experiences, testimonies, beliefs, and daily practices shape who they are, and who they are becoming. Through intimate solo episodes and featured guests who are everyday leaders wrestling with real questions, this podcast offers space to grapple, grow, and name the wisdom found in our lived lives.

Episode 2 will be available on January 14th!
