Individual + Team Executive Coaching


Our executive coaching model is intended for leaders and teams who are interested in short and mid-term explosive growth in their leadership approach and experiences. These leaders are typically facing an inflection point where they are challenged by new experiences that are pushing them to reframe who they are in their roles, as leaders, their beliefs, desires, and definition of impact. They find that having a neutral thought-partner to hold their thinking, push them to think beyond their comfort zone or typical boundaries, and help them arrive at new ways that are tangible and transferrable is critical to changing how work looks and feels for them today, tomorrow, and the months to come. We are conscious of the role of identity in leadership and leverage it as a critical domain in our coaching and broader support.

Strategic Planning + Communication


We view our work as most impactful when we are able to connect individual and team transformation to strategy. “Strategic planning” gets a bad rep and that is because it is tough to actualize. We believe strategic planning is the act of being (how we show up) as much as it is doing (the choices we make to have impact). Our strategic planning and communications services support teams to take their leadership to the next level integrating our coaching model with their strategic planning framework so that they can create the conditions for strong decisions—the secret to any strategic plan. Our approach is rooted in understanding your organization’s target audience, value proposition, critical resources, and investment strategy.

Of course, we do get to the business of it all. We include an analysis on how to get from the current to the future state and ways to think about communication and stewardship as a way to convey that work to the world. We help organizations come off the block and make bold, timely, and smart moves to realize their vision through market analyses, internal operating systems, risks, and performance, cyclical strategic and management plans, preparation, and execution.

We work with leaders to consider the opportunities at-the-ready to begin communicating out their strategic direction, engage others in meaning-making, and build agency across stakeholder groups to begin stepping into the organization's next chapter.

Change & Transition Management


We believe that one of the most critical aspects of change is how you help people mentally, physically, and emotionally move through the unknown. Bringing people along is key when implementing new approaches to leadership and strategy; the win is in how an organization structures the information needed to drive a change process and this service helps leaders ensure they are bringing their people along with them.

Our change management and transition support bridges The People Business’ Building on Change model and leaders’ personal relationship with change. We guide leaders to think about the most important aspects of change they believe must be understood and embodied to enlist others in their vision of the future while also helping them to better understand how each person’s relationship with change is different and must be considered as a part of their process. We support leaders to confront hard truths related to the season they are in to get them unstuck, navigate risks associated with the change, draft key messages, create experiences for leaders that build clarity, conviction, and agency, and cascade subsequent opportunities to manage the pace of change and impact on each layer of their organization.

We support leaders charged with the breadth and depth of the change to remain grounded in their values and the strategic choices guiding how the change is managed overtime, personally, interpersonally, and systemically.

Strategic Advisory Support


Resting on the belief that when we are deep in something and need to make swift, calculated, bold, and impactful decisions in the heat of a moment, it is hard to see all of the pathways and options ahead of you and even harder to center identity, values, and beliefs— we desire to be another set of eyes and ears.

Strategic advisory is one of our simplest and lightest touch offerings, but some leaders find it to be the most critical and satisfying when facing high-stakes decision-making in a pressurized or time-sensitive context. Most often, leaders seek this service after prior work with B² or when dealing with less routine but consequential moments (e.g. a time-bound, unexpected, high-stakes, and far-reaching impact).

Some people call this crisis management, but we think differently as we believe moving a matter out of crisis feels good, but moving the needle on one’s leadership orientations and approach reduces the likelihood of it happening again. Our strategic advisory support is for individual leaders or leadership teams who are working to make strategic decisions that are best for their organizations and their constituents while wanting to also consider how their habits create favorable or unfavorable patterns.

We help position leaders to size up the stakes, understand their strategic advantage, threats, weaknesses, and opportunities to feel clear, confident, and complete with their choices.
