Our suite of services is designed around our core belief that leaders cannot realize bold plans, weather storms, or lead through change without simultaneously shifting their mindsets and leadership orientations.   • Our strategic planning and communications services support teams to take their leadership to the next level creating the conditions necessary to design and execute dynamic plans that will accelerate the impact of their organizations.

  • Many organizations invest heavily in strategic planning and more are realizing the importance of coupling strategy planning with change management. However, we have studied and are certified to help organizations manage through moments of transition—the space between where you are and where you are going. Incorporating The People Business’ Building on Change, our change management and transition support helps leaders and teams grapple with what makes change hard and how to facilitate the journey to an alternate future.

Nafeesha discovered at a young age that she loved getting to know and helping people solve their most complex problems. She discovered there was power at the intersection of personal growth and strategic focus and that is the place where one’s purpose is realized. She brings that belief to every engagement.

  • Nafeesha grew up in a household and family of "we will figure it out" and took this literally.

    As the eldest sibling of two and first-gen college graduate, figuring out how to blaze a path through 3rd-way solutions became innate.

  • Nafeesha’s curiosity and personal upbringing in an underserved community led her to pursue a deeper understanding of systemic inequities--a world she became more present to as an HBCU college student researching the history of sit-in-movements near her undergrad alma mater NCAT.

    Years later, she stepped into administration and executive leadership working within institutions and across communities and diverse leaders, boards, organizers, philanthropists, politicians, and others to deeply understand the complexities of systems.

  • Engaging in her work and self-perception of leadership in high-stakes environments and in new and challenging ways led her to excel in being recognized in her own organization as a strong, credible leader and as a 40 under 40 women in business leader within her community.

    Nafeesha is a doctoral student studying leadership & learning in organizations where she is working to learn and grow the research around how organizational leaders improve their practices and impact.

    • a Program Leader with REI's Groundwater Institute and seasoned racial equity practitioner

    • Certified in Change Management via The People Business

    • Trained in Facilitative Leadership, Distinguished Leadership in Practice, Courageous Conversations, Eureka Ranch Innovation Engineering Fast Track, Racial Equity, and Understanding by Design
